Theme

The theme of the book is that this is the final battle that has been going on throughout the books. The theme is that Harry Potter and his friends must fight to the death in order to save the ones they love from devastation. In order to save them Harry must kill Voldermort.

Antagonist

The Antagonist is Voldermort. Not much is told about the character but being Harry Potters Nemesis. During the series Voldermort has tried to kill harry countless times. Also appears in human form from time and time during the saga of the books.

Protagonist

The main Protagonist is Harry Potter. Harry is raised by his aunt and uncle Vernon and Petunia. As a child they Harry's aunt and uncle always treated Harry as a outsider. As a baby Harry Potter's parents (Lily and James Potter) were killed by lord Voldermort. Voldermort tried to kill Harry but only left him with a remaining scar on his forehead. Which makes him famous in todays literature books.

Suspense

During the rise of Voldermorts outcome Harry is finding himself that him and his dearest friends are going to have to put there lives on the line in order to protect the ones they love. In order to do that Harry has to find a army and gathers up his followers from Dumbledores army. Then they try to hold Voldermorts army off in Hogwart's school.

Conflict

The Conflict is lord Voldermort has killed the head minister of the ministry of magic to gain total power. So Harry, Ron, and Harmonie drop out of Hogwarts to put together a plan to stop him and his horcruxes.

Setting

The book takes place mainly takes place at Hogwarts were Harry, Ron, and Harmonie defend the school against the rise of Voldermort and the deatheaters and several other magical creatures.

Background On The Author

The authors name is J.K. Rowling. But is also know as Joanne Rowling. She was born on July 31, 1965 in Yates, Gloucestershire, England. She has two parents named Peter James Rowling, and Anne Rowling. She also has one sister and her name is Dianne Rowling. When she was young she would always be writing short fantasy stories as young kid since the age of 4. By the age of 6 she wrote her first real story. Many times she would sit and read her stories to her little sister. During the time when Harry Potter was in the making of a novel, many of the characters you see in the Harry Potter books were a majority based on her life and the people she has met and known while growing up. During the time of writing the first Harry Potter book Joanne's mother died from a 10 year long battle from multiple sclerosis. During the time of her mothers death Joanne was really affected by her passing and put that emotion in to her writing. She was able to put much more detail on Harry's losses in the first book and so one in the series.
